I don't even understand the obsession with replacing low paying jobs like fast food workers or small artist when there are so many useless paper pushers, human resources roasties and pointless manager positions that literally serve no purpose and could probably be automated with an excel spreadsheet.

I work in one of the biggest companies in my country and the amount of bureaucracy needed to do the simplest task is overwhelming. To change a simple product name code you have to call and schedule meetings with 8-10 people. That's with us having custom made software and an in house software development department whos only job is to make everything more 'efficient'.

I've worked in other big companies before and the situation was similar, tons of redundant or plain useless job positions doing nothing while the actual workload relies in a couple of departments that are overworked ,underpaid and understaffed and have to go through retarded hoops to get things done because management just decided that's the way to do things
