it's fine, it was fun/somewhat useful to study anyhow, and i've been feeling uninspired lately. i was told by some friends that the artist apparently actually has their own process videos though, which i didn't know about. i guess it renders this kind of redundant, but ah well.

i use hotkeys for new layers + folders/moving up or down layers, so my mouse won't move to the panel if you're watching for layer setup.
