Is there any book that explain various beauty standards? I want to create cute, beautiful and ugly male and female faces, but I don't know what makes them such, apart from proportions maybe? But then I've heard that proportions are not rigid, there are stylizations that look nicely, but what makes them such?
I don't know for sure but perhaps various cultures have different standards, perhaps some artists did research on this?
