That's cool to hear! Glad that you managed to push through and give the work a try - doubly glad that you enjoyed the result! Keep on working anon.

A few hundred might not sound like much - but really any amount of money is hugely respectable! Someone willing to give away some of their money they spent time and effort working for just for you to draw something for them is significant even if its a smaller number than you hope.

Rad that you've got such a supportive family for you and your art - hope you enjoy the new rig.

Glad that you've begun to feel better about yourself, hopefully, you'll continue on the path of self-improvement and feeling better no matter what methods you go through.

Awesome anon! So cool to see you return to the things you enjoy in life, especially that you enjoy the work you make and intend to create more. Goes to show there's no one age you start doing art at - everyones journey is different, with different starts and stops - so I hope yours continues to be self fulfilling.

Even if you aren't doing as much art as you'd like, its good to see you've got a job to support yourself with. Any progress is still progress which is a good thing. Thanks for the kind words : )

Nice to hear you're getting support for your art irl anon, especially since they're so overwhelmingly supportive. My friends are a great influence on my life and yours seem to be too.

Everyone feels lost sometimes, especially in something as personal as their art. It's good to see you've got your own personal self-motivation going on. You're right, learning takes time and it sounds like you're progressing.
Thanks anon, you seem so too.

I personally can't imagine how you must have felt to attempt suicide, and you're right that you aren't dead yet. Sometimes people who attempt suicide can feel like they've permanently killed themselved in the eyes of those around them, but its important to keep in mind no matter what you did in the past, you're alive here and how. Your GF seems supportive and I hope you can find personal happiness.

I struggle with this sometimes myself. To me, a human experience is something that should never end and the fact that we age is the greatest tragedy of our universe. Because of that, I find that there's nothing that can really be considered the perfect use of our time. If nothing is the best use of our time, then its best to treat life like anything can be a good use of your time. Do what you want with your life and try and increase your satisfaction, its the only life you have after all.
