Thank you this is great advice but I don't really have an end-goal.. I want draw people and anatomy but I also want to draw cartoons.

I'm spending too much on the books and not drawing enough from the Imagination and it's really confusing me and bringing me down...

Also to clarify Friend A and I were using tablets.. Only Friend B was using a mouse.

I only know the basics and I haven't read through the books much.. but I would like to Improve on my doodles.

any tips on how to avoid making this pose?

I want to see If i could work on gesture or is that too early?
