How come less than 1% of artists (specially japs) know composition and color theory?

Less than 1% of all the pictures I see on this board and the other boards has proper composition and color theory.

Since I am afraid deviantart will die in some decades and I don't want my art lost for ever, I realized I could make a github repository for my old art, organized by date.

Also plan on scanning my pen and paper old drawings (maybe a couple hundreds) on such repository.

Maybe even host it on several sites.
Maybe even code a basic gallery in HTML and CSS to view them and use a basic hosting solution for it.

Is this a good idea?

Daily reminder that several 5-10 minutes drawing sessions done during the day every day yields more result than doing a single two hours long session every few days.

Is there any real diference of real paper, pencil, ink, canvas, oil and digital?

Or is placebo?

I'm starting to feel they're completelly diferent, like digital VST and real instruments.
