Anon that shared the article/tweet quotes here, just wanted to mention a few things for those that don't know. The new Batgirl is more or less Tumblr/SJW/hipster in a comic and is primarily marketed towards the whole female Tumblr crowd. I've seen Stewart tweet about his disgust of the whole "SJW movement/idea" or whatever you want to call it that is making the rounds on the net (I don't really keep up with Babs or the others on the team as much). This tweet from Cameron was a sort of smartass response to the criticism, or at least that's how I read it.

Interesting to note, if I recall correctly, the first issue of this Batgirl has her waking up to a man she doesn't initial remember meeting at a club the night before. Something about making out with him and then drunkenly inviting him back to her place and implied sex. It seemed out of character at first, but then I remember they've totally changed this Barbara into a hipster ginger that drinks coffee regularly and takes selfies. The irony is great. (This could have been the unintended leak I'm remembering, and I can't promise this made it into the final release.)

That being said, I totally see how the cover Alberquerque did wasn't exactly inline with this current Batgirl concept. But it was a variant cover and the whole shitpile is still laughable.
