oh fuck I see it now. I was tryin to be "smart" by using more than one shadow values unlike the pic, but I forgot that the white lines were mainly suppose to separate the figure rather than being highlights. I'm such a brainlet jesus

also need to work on feet in general. i love drawing legs because they're fun but for some reason I struggle with feet. Also feel like the head is off- but its probably because I didn't spend enough time and just focused on getting the body right
