Yep, I kinda went ballistic on his hind legs and now I regret it. Should've toned it down a lot.
Also, I didn't know how deer hooves looked, since they weren't visible in the original image., so I just did whatever. Turns out, they look like this, kek.
>How do you improve your penciling and learn where to put those little marks like you did?
You just hatch along the form to better describe it. Construction helps, because you know exactly what shape everything is, so you just add hatches when something bends to show it, etc. I'm kinda trash at it myself, but it's not hard if you practice.
