I'm always baffled by the speed of digital art. Some thing seem to be made easier by digital art, like refining lines etc.
So I just decided I needed to be better than the digifags and get gud and faster. Getting there slowly.

I guess it very much depends on what you want to do as well. When I hang out in drawthreads and see character art on various sites and here I get frustrated. But when I go outside and try to do some life sketching or nature drawing etc, I always imagine the digifags hauling around their laptop and tablet and having to get home because their computer folded after 3-4 hours or such and it gives me some schadenfreude.
