Someone like Vilppu will help you out a lot more if you're intent on learning fundamentals that can be applied.

Personally I don't like the chinese art style anymore once I got a bit more competent with drawing. The burn & light tools and dependency on the monitors brightness / luminescence with whiteness * racism tied to fair/white skin. Harsh burning white against blacks, burnt hues against muddy tones..

Beware the more you learn about drawing the less you'll enjoy the art you see. I can't even paint very well but don't appreciate half the things I see anymore.


So when I see your image teaching to draw symbols for facial features with minor renderings for $200..
the bottom right had the most potential because of that loose cartoon she'd probably be willing to draw faces a thousand times over, to throw them away and improve but in the 'after' image she's all locked down trying to render and boxed herself in.

I bought Vilppu's first Art Mentor's program and participated when it was live and still have the files.

Firstly, you need to have the passion to follow through the lessons with the position of learning and drawing.

If you do buy a lesson, it's on you to make that $300 investment return with your own drawing and digesting of the video content.

The only instructor I've been interested in is Vilppu on both Art Mentors and NMA, this is why I purchased anything from either website and know what to expect from him.

It's apparent even after going through that workshop and studying every so often that my drawings from imagination are still lacking but I've taken on his methodology and do work easier with it.


You can just be a cheapskate and pirate stuff like most people do though; no I won't upload my archive.
