I wish I could quit art as a hobby forever.

I've gotten close but i always end up coming back to it and hating myself for it.

Why couldn't I have taken up programming or learning how to play an instrument or anything else more useful than fucking drawing?

I guess I started when I was kid, but literally every little kid draws.

It became solidified as one of my official hobbies once I was in elementary school, however. By then, most kids don't draw anymore, or they just do little stick men doodles on their worksheets. Me, i was drawing Pokemon and Dragonball Z art that my mom would unironically put on the fridge.

I started drawing seriously once I turned 17. Started doing master copies, life drawings and playing around with different kinds of drawing techniques. I got a job that same year and couldn't devote all my time to drawing any more so my stuides have been short and sporadic since then.
Had a short dream of becoming a comic book artist, but quickly gave up on that and now I just draw occasionally where the sessions are short and I don't produce anything of worth or that i'm exactly proud of.

Im 30 now.

It's a troll. There's several other artists who have also joined in and they are all apart of the same discord group. This artist in particular is a /pol/ incel who thinks they are being epic and funny by pretending to be some tumblr sjw despite the fact that this trend died back in 2012 and hasn't been in an actual in years.

Source: they were outed a few weeks back and now they try damage control whenever someone brings it up. (im certain OP is probably one of their members or the artist themselves considering the uptick in /pol/ shitposting on /ic/ recently)
