don't draw gestures with stick figures or couple of ovals, do, ehh, a bundle of spaghetti at least, cooked ofc
imagine as if you need to find the common denominator of a leg, for example, so you cut out all the bumps and draw an ehhh spaghetti.
gesture is, basically, a proper, natural way of connecting masses. and obviously you can't properly place, for example, the ribcage in relation to the pelvis based on a single line, you need a "river"
you can try pick any noob drawing and trace the gesture, it's not gonna be very pretty
