Tried out gouache today first time giving it a real shakedown and boy that was rough, went with a limited palette called like secondary or something. I could NOT for the life of me get this greenish yellow in the apple and most colors were just off.

Spent a lot of time just trying to get a good enough yellow greenish color and gave up at the end but what I've gathered is maybe I should practice just picking a color from something and trying to color match it instead of just straight jumping into a piece.
