Imagine that your image is a 2d graphic shape, there is no depth. Look at it in an abstract sense.

Now see how the foreground rocks, the midground ruins, and the bg pillars are all almost identical in visual size even though they are different distances from us? You are flattening your image and making it feel more boring than it needs to be because of this. Right now your scale is really hard to tell. Those clouds for example look pretty close to us and like they are almost touching hte ground. How can you give appropriate depth and scale? Don't rely on just a value shift, use other cues like size, detail, and shape to help as well.
