When does it end, when does it ever end. This keeps happening. I can’t take this anymore. I give up. Took time off after University to work on my portfolio and apply to jobs. Time to go back to retail again and just draw as a hobby, I was foolish to think I was ever going to be good enough to make it. I was foolish to think my dreams were something I could achieve

I want to shill myself and post more often and try to talk with my followers and stuff like that, but it seems like a disengenuous (can't think of any other word) thing to do.
Isn't it a bad idea to spam your audience with things other than your art, which is the whole reason they're your fans? You'd think once you started posting random status updates a lot of people would stop supporting you.

How can I justify being a shill with that in mind? This mindset I have will probably make me ngmi but I don't want to be a dishonest person. Dunno what to do at this point.
