okay, how the fuck do I paint digitally? I don't understand it. I just can not wrap my head around it. Everything I do is always (black) lines, flats, hard shadows, highlights. How do I break this? I want to make actual "paintings" and not "bootleg anime screen shots." Everything looks so phenomenal and blows me away and I get so inspired, but then I try it myself and I'm instantly frustrated because I don't know how to render or add values or what the fuck ever. I just want to be able to paint in a style similar to pic related I found on twitter. Not just for anime shit, I mean overall. How do I get out of this mess?
