I have one 21 UX, it costed me around 500 too and came without pencil as well, I used to have a cintiq 12wx which got the job done but the screen was so small and the resolution so low it drove me nuts, the resolution on the 21ux isnt much better, and the screen is bigger, I can see every damn pixel and my refs looks like ass, of you get one you getter get another screen for refs, the aspect ratio is just sweet, love it, the screen size is Big enough for my liking, it doesnt overheat, it's silent, the screen colors are off as on any old cintiq, weird orange tint, the pen uses 2048 pressure levels, which are noticeable if you come from a 1024 levels like I did, overall really solid tablet, Best option for a budget Big screen tablet, since cintiq pros are insanely and inexplicable expensive and chink shit is just garbage only a complete fool would use.
