>How the FUCK do artist accounts even grow?

If even one person on /ic/ knew that, these types of threads would cease to exist.

>Tried "being more social" on social media, didn't work
>Tried posting more frequently even if its reposts of old art, didn't work
>Tried networking with popular artists to skip the tedious process of building a following, didn't work
>Tried pandering to coomers, didn't work
>Tried clapping back at retarded hot take tweets, didn't work and got my old account banned pre-Elon Musk takeover.
>Tried experimenting with my art seeing if that made any difference, didn't work

I've been at this shit for years myself and at this point, I don't know what the fuck I need to do because if its not algorithm updates dicking me over, its other artists magically going from no following at all to gaining quite a following overnight all from one viral tweet that I cannot for the life of me seem to crack the code on. All I get told when I ask for advice or any cheat codes if you will is to "work on my art" or to "keep going, you'll make it one day" when its pretty evident from my perspective social media success as a content creator is very much a rigged game even after Elon Musk took over Twitter. If anything, its nothing but high school clique bullshit times ten and if you don't qualify to be part of some snooty artist circlejerk in any way, then forget about it. Your ass ain't gonna make it!
