This was the third or fourth drawing I ever did. I'm embarrassed to post this, but I'll just say I'm very much a beginner and my drawings thus far have just been me taking photos of women and drawing them in a more stylized way. I've drawn myself realistically one time, and it was very lopsided (eyes were off, one lower than the other, and shit like that)

I don't really know how to draw from imagination, the only way I can is to just remember what I do from copying the photos. Certain angles I can't do at all and when I try it's very discouraging and hard. I can draw straight ahead heads and heads facing slightly to the side. I find myself very self-aware while I'm drawing and hesitant to even make lines. Even alone knowing no one will see my drawing. And I tend to erase a lot and ruin what I did have.

My ultimate goal is to become just decent at drawing portraits/headshots of women in semi-realistic to fairly stylized styles. I don't want to become amazing, I just want to be able to say I'm an artist and have a lot of work under my belt. And have fun most importantly, which I do. I was even proud of this piece of shit lol.

First real attempt at drawing a head from an angle and not straight ahead. I can't decide if she's cute or not
