FACT: Most mangakas have a TEAM OF ARTISTS WORKING FOR HIM.
The mangaka rafts the story, in a VERY rough way, and this rough is first approved by his/her editor. Then, a team about twenty artists do all the work, on top of his character design: one for hair, another for machines/cars, another only does tones, one is specialized in clothing, and so on. Only a madman would do the "american" way and have only ONE guy for pencils and another for inks. If you think in competing against japan by yourself, you´re an idiot.
