Also: IN REAL LIFE THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A "BACKGROUND". Every scene you see has a foreground, a middle ground, and a back ground, but these are all in space. Don't think of things split up like that as you would see in a 2d picture plane, life has depth and there is probably an object in every increment forwards and backwards. To represent each of these small things accurately with perspective, light, and color etc, is to create space.

You don't need to read more to understand space, you just have to change the way you see, understand, and represent space as an entire concept.

You can force this to happen by just putting in the work and learning to fucking paint, you fucking casual.
