Then what does that make you for posting them?

Either way these are getting me in the mood for edginess. I think I can stand to dial it up a bit.

Holy fuck help me. I lobbed the old pen as far as I could without littering and the new pen still didn't register at first. I went into settings and removed the old pen's preferences from registered tools. That didn't seem to help.

Then I unplugged and plugged back in my tablet. Hey! The new pen works all of a sudden! Except it doesn't show up in the tools settings/preferences menu so I couldn't seem to change how it functions. Great. Then after I try to access the display settings I get a "driver not detected" message of some kind. Then I get a similar message for the tool options. Also my tablet's buttons stopped working so I couldn't try to access options through that anymore. The thing's lights were still on and my computer recognized it was functioning so it's not like it wasn't plugged in properly. I don't even know what changed.

So at this point I decided I'd reinstall the drivers. So I did. It asked me to restart my computer. So I did. Now I can access settings and everything like that once again, except my new pen doesn't register at all. Do I need to register it under tool preferences or something? I can't add any new tools like I can with program preferences.

Oh, and for one second, I forget exactly when it happened, the pen was working perfectly. Then it stopped. Like it never even happened.

I'm at my wits end. Please tell me there's some kind of guide buried deep in the internet on using a replacement pen with a tablet. I don't mean to be dramatic, but a helpful response could save someone some property damage.
