Again with this? It is not awful, first of all. This portrait of Mokou isn't awful either, but please post a more recent example of his work.
You are ignoring the obvious factors that: Technical work doesn't mean shit if your designs/music/overall game is complete garbage. He draws his characters in order to set an idea and put his designs on paper and nothing more. I am sick of so many simple-minded people that can't seem to realize that ZUN doesn't give a fuck about his artworks, and has improved quite nicely over the years for someone that doesn't care.

Why don't you focus on other aspects of Touhou Project if it bothers you so much to create a thread over it?
