/ic/ - Artwork/Critique

I've hit the end of my rope with proper lineart for this cycle of my life. The more I try to do a good job the more it gets in the way of other things somehow, so for this one I did some kinda-sorta lineart, then after laying in the flats I dropped those lines' opacity, rendered around and over them a bit to define the forms, then at the end I went in and drew some more lines to reinforce things. A trend that I think will give way to more rendering and fewer lines in the future as I get better.
