I am very new, so trying to break it down more and get more detail into it is hard. should I move on to other stuff and just try these rough sketches first before trying to act like I can do high level detail?
for a style that I like, this dude and his work (https://www.pixiv.net/en/artworks/63262209)) I really like and for some of his works he has it broken down. But I notice that even his roughest fill in still is pretty solidly defining the scene. Where can I go to start to learn the thought process behind this style? rather than just trying to rough it on my own.
