I don’t know where to direct you because I don’t know what look you’re aiming for. Post an example. What theme/athetic are you aiming for? Saying me doesn’t help because I’m not you therefore I cannot guess what you want it to resemble. Traditional in what way there are hundreds of styles for traditional. You’re too vague and I don’t know what your goalpost looks like.
Example.
I want to draw in a way that has this aesthetic. I want to focus on the realistic female form while making a surreal image. I want to have a similar coloring style to this. I want to draw traditionally with pen and pencil.”
I would suggest studying the aspects you like. Study color theory, draw models. Find references. Alternate between drawing from life to drawing from imagination. Look at it see what you did wrong then correct it. Repeat until you die.

You’ll end up polishing a turd. Fixing proportions is the first step. If the base is weak then everything else won’t really matter.
Values are effected by proportions.
