there is no right or wrong workflow. some people use cylinders, some use boxes, some use gestures and some literally draw the final contour first. dont try to bend yourself if it isnt working, all paths leads to finished canvas anyway

there isnt really difference between sketching in trad or digital, one just doesnt have zoom or undo. the skills are transferable. only when you start rendering or dealing with color then the difference is BIG
