Why don't we post good western comics for OP seeing as he's clearly an uncultured pleb that needs to be spoonfed? Here's one I just found in like two seconds that's better than pretty much any manga that's come out in the past decade.

I laughed, I cried, the artwork is phenomenal. Required reading for any comic fan tbqph

I'm hoping to get an art-heavy project rolling soon. I've become confident that the only way I'll be able to get this done in a reasonable time frame is to hire a superior artist and relegate myself to the position of a client and 'art director' rather than handling the art alone. There is simply too much currently outside of my repertoire to do this, and I don't want to sit around with my hand down my pants idly playing with my dingy for much longer.

I manage a small store for a meager wage, and I couldn't possibly afford to pay anyone full-time, but as an artist myself I know that if you're at any respectable level you busted your ass to get there. So tell me your rates and give me examples of your work-just understand that depending on what those rates are I might not have work for you as often as I'd like-or might have to decline.

what I'm looking for:

>Character artist and designer with an animation-friendly weeaboo/cartoon/pinup style and strong understanding of artistic fundamentals

>Willing and able to run a private stream while you work for me to observe your process

>At least some semblance of professionalism (if you have or purport to have some kind of debilitating mental illness or physical condition that's going to keep you from fulfilling a basic drawing request for weeks on end let me know ahead of time so I can ignore you nigga)

>English fluency (or close to it)

/ic/ isn't going to be the last place I look, but I've been here enough to where I figured it'd be the first. If you have anyone you know that might be interested, or knows other good places to look I'd appreciate it. Send five of your favorite illustrations you've made to propanestyle@gmail.com; if I don't get back to you within two weeks, don't be offended.

I'll also answer basic questions in this thread too of course. Thanks in advance.

I agree with at least some of what he said. I can enjoy (non-degenerate) nig-nog music whether it's 80's R&B from america or african strings and I'm a racist far-right ideologue. I'll never understand why people think of blacks lower than they do dogs when the blacks will beat the dog in an IQ test 100% of the time if that's the most important thing in the world. I don't think europe should accept black or brown immigrants for a variety of reasons but I don't take it out on the niggas here already because it isn't their fault. Being a socio-political cuck is unforgivable, but there's no need to be a dick either man.

As an addendum, before making that revelation I had bought quite a few "cheap" newsprint pads of paper ($4+ for 50 sheets of newsprint versus $11+ for like 1500 sheets of good old 8.5 x 11) and found the differences marginal at best. The only real problem with the office paper was that the surface I was using had a few surprise divots in it that would JUST FUCK MY SHIT UP, but that problem was easily rectified by getting a nice plastic tray (or you can hypothetically stack several pieces of paper on top of each other to make a pad).

Initially I'd purchased this "artist-specific" paper along with many staedtler pens to follow along with Peter Han's "Dynamic Sketching" series which I did quite prolifically. While I can now draw circles and ellipses like nobody's business I've discovered that all that money was wasted because printer paper and shitty pencils would have been just as effective in following along with the exercises. The tip of a pencil grinds down, sure but it doesn't get much wider than the felt-tip pens he recommends, in the end, at least not to the point where I think it'd truly gimp the artist's ability to draw an accurate line or ellipse.

tl;dr until you can draw like Kim Jung Gi (and youse will nigga, trust) put all that extraneous ostentatious bullshit aside and just draw, fam. Get a sketchbook or a drawing pad for REAL life drawing, yeah, but if you're sitting in your home drawing from photographs on your tablet or computer you have no reason not to get as ghetto as humanly possible.
