oh boy, some people might come at me again for what i'm about to say but whatever.

learn anatomy before doing anything else, where ?
here: http://www.ikonet.com/fr/sante/corpshumainvirtuel/corpshumainvirtuel.php

there is different layers and views on this one, this for basic knowledge. learn the skeleton first, not that hard, then learn the principal muscles, you can even read about them and WHERE they are attached. this is important.

then, after you feel confident about your knowledge: http://www.zygotebody.com/

use pic related settings, this will give the shape to your knowledge, you already know where muscles are attached, now you will know how.
draw ecorchés, try to master muscle placement around your skeleton.

now start looking at references, don't copy them, anylize them, how the body works, what is a possible angle and what isn't, try to build your skeleton, then muscles to replicate it.

just my 2cents.
