>Hasn't gotten any better in the last 2 years desu and I'm pretty sure it peaked unless you start scraping entire movies.
>Peaked
you don't understand anon AIjeets and normies are easily wowed by flashy rendering that's why coomslop with terrible anatomy or atrocious storytelling still often gets a pass as long as it looks good on the surface it's a passable.

>I think a lot of you haven’t actually used AI. You can use stable diffusion for free and get access to all the tools the ai image producers have. Look up “automatic1111”
>After spending about 20 minutes with it you’ll very quickly come to learn it is so awful and dogshit that no one who isn’t a retard would bother using it for minor adjustments. Prompting an image that is even remotely passable takes genuinely hours and a shit ton of computing power. I don’t think OP is using it.
i know that's why anybody who thinks there an appropriate replacement for real art is mentally retarded i once did a little experiment where i prompted a thousands pieces using specific parameters nearly all of them came out with scuffed hands abominations of the flesh or could not generate something as simple as a mask for a character.

>"completely" ai generated, back up your statement with visuals.
not the anon but I do have an example an entire folder to be exact here is one demonstration of his point.

this is what differentiates me (a man) from you (a boy) I will always improve alongside enjoying the process itself even if the internet went out for good I would still be able to draw for the simple fact I enjoy expressing myself you though? you are a pre beg NGMI a crab of legendary scale you are such a coward you could not even post your own work when asked despite the fact I said it in good faith and genuinely wanted to see where you where before becoming a shitposter you will stagnate forever and never actually make it while other mog you.

>"she's supposed to have elastic superpowers like that one woman from the incredibles" and it would be a masterpiece in the zoomer art world.
>Appealing to zoomers
>using the tick tock crowd as an example to promote your slop
anon..... are you a coomer? All coomers eventually devolve into coombrains. Furries for example are the image of giga coomers, all their thought processes are used to coom, they struggle to function normally, its why you see shit like asking for sauce that you can find in less than a minute on e621, or when the artist literally has their name on the image. They have no real standards. If they coom to it, it's "good". Look at how successful gacha is, it's all because coomers are braindead and willingly take it up the ass for their pngs.

>What about the datasets, will AI shills ignore adressing this forever? Their hands are not clean and it seems like that would be the absolute easiest way to put a end to this once and for all. If they have to get permission from every artist it will be a enormous undertaking and a logistical nightmare.

it's actually pretty easy to solve this here is what i came up with force legeslation that mandates all these AI troon comapnies to make there datasets public or better yet make there sofware open source then They could just put AI under the DMCA and say you’re not allowed to use copyrighted works a real person’s likeness or an artist to train model without consent from the person or permission from the copyright holder.
This would shut AI down much faster because DMCA protections are already in place. A real artist could also easily produce the project files to prove they did the work themselves while someone who used AI wouldn’t be able to and honestly fuck them they deserve it greedy wankers.

>yeah it extract the essence of what chris chan artwork looks like but I meant it's not supposed to replicate exact pieces from him, instead extract abstract ideas around what makes it look like it's from him
>he doesn't get it
fuck if only I had the pic of the model with me to show you how fucking grotesque this bodysnatching is apart from minor differences like paper textures it's nearly indistinguishable which opens up horrible implications for grifting and plagiarism.

>your picture is usually from using a model in a certain aspect ratio that wasn't trained on that aspect ratio.
>The AI will try to "fill in" more of what is prompted to make up for the extra space.
yes much like ChatGTP hallucinating made up shit to fill in the gaps on info it doesn't actually know or was forbidden to talk about by it's woke "handers"

find me a human artist who will twist the ass to match the front of the torso I mean how transcendently drunk would you have to be to even do that lmao?

>AI is (or will be relatively soon) human level intelligence.
>i don't understand how machine learning works the post
allow me to explain it for you in relativly simple terms
chatbots like ChatGPT are not actual AI - they are just a predictive text generators that look at mountains of input in order to generate an output. The two main problems with this are - Trying to do things that there are not enough correct samples to look at (which means, yes ChatGPT will be great at simple things that it scraped on let's say stackoverflow or writing forums, but will absolutely suck at anything more complicated because it posseses no actuall thoughts or creativity) and secondly, there are new software programming languages and changes made all the time, so again it will be good at spitting out code that has been around for ages, but horrible at generating anything new.
this is the same thing with image generators
Such a computer program works on having images tagged with descriptions, the user makes the inputs, the program looks for tags, applies filters and warps images with a given seed taken from a a library of seeds available to it and following its directive, until an output is reached.
It isn't even aware of what it is doing, reproducing or replicating, it is simply following orders and what it is programmed to do.
It isn't even able to generate real random outcomes, because it can't absorb new information in the moment since it's just a program this is why they cannot draw hands for shit and regularly produce abominations like this.
eg. just because something can look human doesn't mean it is.

>as a nice testbed to grind rendering techniques and anatomy sadly most people won't ever see them that way due to greed and coomlust it could have been a useful tool
I take that back by god wtf look at the monstrosity it generated now it almost reminds me of those degenerate twisted body fetish artist.
