Yes

Currently it's the only huge obstacle. I'm hoping that if I keep working on it I will learn to turn it into a positive

Should I major in graphic design or Drawing & Painting? I've never used Photoshop that much and it requires a Mac which I have also never used. I figure graphic design might be a bit more likely to net me a job than Drawing & Painting, though.
