You're still attempting to portray a real thing in a stylistic fashion.
You can't draw humans with no joints and say its style so its okay now. Humans have joints and its the reason movement works the way it does. Hair comes out of your head in a certain way, being stylized doesn't change that. You can have some fun with it, but the classic anime hair did not really go in any categories.
It was too exaggerated to be stylized realism, and it was too normal to be complete fantasy stylistic bullshit.

Hair should look like hair, and when you have bangs that come out 3 head lengths away from your forehead, there's a problem.
The silly hair was never a good stylistic choice anon. Modern anime has much more appealing hair styles.
