If anyone was wondering why the vast majority of the west sucks at drawing anime while Chinese, Korean, Taiwanese etc. easily draw passable anime, this is why. Asians are deforming based on what they know and it turns out anime, westerners deform based on their default person and it looks like garbage. The Japanese literally have threads on 2ch just to make fun of western "anime".

If you actually objectively look at the few details anime faces include, every detail is inspired by some Asian phenotype. The eyes are drawn like scaled up "almond" eyes with a palpebral slant, the eyes are widely spaced with no tear ducts in between (hidden by epicanthic fold), the nose-bridge is low and thin, the eyes are shallow set, the eyebrows are separated far from the eyes and the eyebrows are straight and thin (because no brow ridge or temples to curve around). The list goes on and on.
