You're absolutely right but there is one thing i want to nitpick
>these cancerous types might lack artistic skill but are EXTREMELY good at networking/infiltration and very socially cunning
Not as much as one might think.
Yes, if you belong to a certain niche, you will get a easier time playing the numbers game because everyone follows each other in a selfish attempt to get higher numbers.
All those pronouns-in-bio-made-up-genders-follow-everyone will rarely truly make it.
They'll get their dopamine fix and then throw it away because they aren't getting any real benefit from it or they won't stand out even with big numbers and quit.
Saying it simple; They're trading quality for quick quantity.
The majority of them can't network, because they can't build a (business) relationship; they would mostly think they are using each other as a stepping stone and will not blink once when they throw you under the bus for their own benefit; cue
>cancel culture/identity politics
In a sense, they're social butterflies and like real butterflies, their social success is short lived.
Sociopaths change identities when they have failed or have been found out, completely cutting all ties they had with their previous persona.
This makes it impossible for them to go professional or establish trusted relationships with others because online personas might be easy to change, but your irl identity, bank accounts, adresses is quite an ordeal to go through and not worth the effort for the gamble that is the art industry.
The other ones who do everything for the approval of the masses and parrot the mainstream narrative for brownie points are also just delaying the inevitable, mostly because they have a lot of skeletons in their closets. People might not say anything, but they know and they will avoid such people.
Of course, implying they pursue art with the goal of going professional and making money with it for the sake of the conversation.
In the end, they're all self-destructing.

>You sure are twisting my words
>I don't know what you're trying to say
Anon, stop lying. You just don't think about stuff because you don't value anything that comes from anyone except yourself.
>Declining and demonizing are two different things. You can decline politely without demonizing the person.
You decline a person AND demonize the action. Why are you twisting my words, Anon?
>You can decline politely without demonizing the person.
Then why did you say the things you did?
>Yes, yes, yes and yes
Wrong answer.
