No, it won't be solid. You need to stop being a perfectionist and accept that your first comic is going to be shit. You won't get good at making comics but simply doing isolated practices all the time. This is an excerpt from Manga theory and practice by the creator of Jojo bizarre adventure and he stated that it him 500 failed comic pages before he was able produce anything decent.
