I see no difference. Being able to draft a sketch to use under a painting is a fabrication skill. I'm not creating an original, from imagination drawing. I'm not copying someone else's work. I'm soliciting photos on 4chan, than converting them into paintings in the most user-friendly way possible.

webm related is a 20x24. Have you ever hand drawn a face on a 20x24? Have you ever hand drawn a face on any canvas? Have you ever painted a face in your life? Have you ever used acrylic paint before in your life?

If you're speaking as a consumer, that makes sense. You have the depth of knowledge of one. If you're trying to speak as an "artist," you've more than demonstrated that "we" are entirely full of shit.
