I just realized something.
I did exactly what you said with using yourself as a reference (I took a picture of myself wearing a thick sweater holding a box. I also used some old warhammer art for the uniform/helmet as reference) but I held the box against my thorax instead of holding it out when I took the photo, so I technically drew it right as to the reference but I accidently made the reference wrong.
I think Im retarded. Im just gonna finish doing a the colour and then see how it looks
