That's very helpful. Yeah I can see now that the different techniques I used don't match and look like a weird collage. I thought the color was somewhat coherent though. I can only see that there is too much green on the left side at the moment. Well anyway since I plan on spending a few hours on this I'll be sure to use your advice. Thanks!

Working on this one at the same time, I can see that your critique would apply to this one as well. I can't make a decision about linework, drawing is the hardest for me.

That looks very nice. The frames are slightly too close to the border and there is too much empty space between the two IMO. If that matters at all.
