...and one by van Gogh. Just to show that, even if you're going to take a stylized approach, working from life is still very useful, and gives you more information about light and form than any other reference material. Nothing beats the real thing. It's fine to work imaginatively as well, but drawing from life is an exercise every artist needs to do to stay fit.
