People always say this but then go on to never-ever talk about or even rt/share original black characters.
The fact of the matter is that social media prioritizes posts that can fit into an algorithm and are easily searchable. Until social media companies figure out a way to make it easy to find original work and consumers start accepting original work more than derivative work the fact will remain that making derivative fanart of any kind will always be more beneficial than making original art if you don't have a following willing to support your original work. Why would I design and draw artwork for an OC that will get 20 likes and one rt when I can redraw a frame from an anime and have saved all the work of having to design something and think of a pose and get 20x the likes and retweets?

White culture is dominant because whites made themselves dominant. Centuries of imperialism, domineering in markets, abusive trade practices, warring with smaller countries for resources, and then refusing to buy/accept foreign media for a long time made it so that white culture is dominant.

Why would it count for much? The players are mostly black but most of the administration is white (inb4 echoes) and the sports were invented by white guys. 99% of the black rappers dominating charts will have dozens if not hundreds of white people either engineering the instrumentals, helping write lyrics, or managing the PR. Keep in mind that while the artists and athletes may be black, they're being selected and backed by corps mostly made up of white people.
