That girl´s paintings are not impressive and are mostly made by her dad´s. Also she had a good marketing and media campaign behind her. So they probably had some dollars invested into advertising her.

I did know of a guy named Miles Johnston. he used to win all teen challenges in ca.org and then started winning character challenges when he was 15, he was better than most adults in the boards and he was a pro in the industry shortly after, he wasn´t even 20.

Now he was impressive. The kid was crazy good but if i remember correctly came from an artists family and learnt all the fundamentals at a very young age from his parents. He had everything in his favor basically. He simply had to follow a straight path.

Once he started winning challenges he became friends with all the pros in the board who started mentoring and shilling him hard in the business, he didn´t even need to network much.

Some people simply have a mix of talent and good context, it happens but is not the norm to simply have it like that.
