the current state of /ic/ is like /ck/ talking about nothing but fast food. and that actually is the case a lot of the time there, too. anything that strays from the monoculture slowly gets pushed out. there are no actual “nerds” anymore, either. being skilled at something actually useful, innovative or inspired would predispose you to not want to post here in the first place. it’s like reverse gate keeping. we only want shit here, take your fancy industrial design and fine art elsewhere.
