In another age I would have loved to go to an art academy but
>too poor for spergy classical ARC courses
>WAAAY too poor for American atelier and concept art courses
>Too autistic and /pol/ for UK university courses (dropped out of one and actually went on to join a far right movement for a brief time) plus they're mainly shit (optional life drawing once a week for a single term for £9000 a year to share a tiny studio with other scammees)

Considering doing something like Architecture or Blacksmithing and drawing alongside it, but I fear Le Ebin Redpills may have permanently altered me, turned me cynical and I may let slip some white nationalist talking point like last time and Oh God It's Habbening Again, and I don't want to live a secret life where I can't make an autistic non-PC joke without getting treated as a pariah by virtue signalling teenagers

I'm just going to travel around and do a lot of wildcamping and hitchhiking round Europe while I sort my head out and get some perspective and new pathways, will get a lot of opportunities for museum studies and plein air.

Sorry it happened with something you like anon, but I'd say the desire for exposure and fame (or infamy) is a toxic desire, even if it does net you lots of dopamine and an inflated ego.

One thing I've been trying to strive for in my art is not giving a fuck who enjoys it. I put it out online only as a digital record for myself and as a way of letting people know I'm not dead yet, I don't give a fuck if one of my works gets 100 likes or 1000, and if someone wants to buy it that's nice but I like to think I wouldn't give a fuck either way

Fuck normies and realise no matter how good you are, how creative or original or hardworking you are, someone will always come along and play you like a goddamned fiddle, but ascension is realising this tragic state of our field and letting go of your anger, bitterness, disappointment, disillusionment, cynicism, burned fingers, defeatism etc. Just do it for you and the people who like it are welcome to stay
