>What are you focusing on?
I feel like my strong side is rendering. Also my approach is usually one of refining a crappy sketch until it gets better and better, so the focus is on taking time and not giving up, more than having everything look right from the start. My weak side is construction and "quality over quantity" as you mentioned. The goal is painting, but I have seen some incredible stuff made with charcoal so I want to learn that as well.

Did this a few months ago, where I used the same approach as the flowers. The charcoal is just for the background, I use a mechanical pencil for the subject. I'll start the next one and post itt
