I don't think tokens ever should have existed at all if you're going to make them break streaks. It's like entrapment, they were only there to bait people into using them and screw themselves over, and a lot of them probably didn't realise.

It's also like there has been two very pointlessly different LASs running all this time (week based challenge and an invisible streak based challenge), but the latter is only having light cast on it now. There was never any point in having both, it should have just been either no token sudden death from the start, or tokens don't break streaks from the start.

Best thing you can do now is merge them and remove all confusion, don't mess around with it. Keep the weeks on a legacy page if it makes people feel better but otherwise just convert the score so far into the new system and don't punish people that used tokens in the past so nobody feels injustice.
