Dude anyone else's work is gonna be better than yours. Don't try and change the subject of critique or put the spotlight on someone else. And if you can't take advice from people who aren't better than you, then you need to pick a new hobby or grow thicker skin.

Can confirm this. I know there's a huge stigma with this in the art community but if you're copying for practice and not posting it as your own I don't see the problem. I've learned the most by doing this and honestly I stopped because it's so looked down upon. wtf.. us artists gotta stick together.
