you got a point, now that I've drawn the jaw it is actually pretty damn ugly

I swear though, every time I use the Loomis method to do a 3/4 view the gap between the ear and the temple feels fucking HUGE. But I'm drawing the oval for the ear and side of the head to the centreline like this guide on YouTube.

Is the line in the middle of the oval too far back? All 3/4 views I've practiced have this and I don't know how come.
