Yes, it works great, you just need to make sure portions are not too big, also you can mix two together- for a while I would have a warm chocolate cake and put homemade vanilla ice cream on top I made myself at home. It tastes great because of contrast, also my vanilla ice cream tastes better than most restaurants because they use a little bit of vanilla and a lot of vanilla sugar- it is a way to cut costs.
