Kek. Here they are. Trying to feel the flow.gesture/rhythm, and get the total quickly, attempting to get a more holistic sense of the pose/figure. Also just plain mileage. Kinda seems too fast to get much out of, but I’m honestly not sure.

Yes. More specifically, it’s about the ability to see accurately and not symbol draw. To be able to draw what you see and get the proportions basically right. (Autisticslly precise sight-size atelier style measuring and photocopying is not what we’re talking about, though.) You can't draw if you can’t see.

Whenever anyone recommends to do measuring and accuracy practice, that’s what we’re talking about. Whenever anyone says to stop symbol drawing, that’s what we’re talking about. Whenever anyone recommends the Brent Eviston beginner course, or Drawing On The Right Side Of The Brain, or Keys To Drawing, that’s what we’re talking about.

Yeah. There are issues. But at least you can see it. It’s hard to paint something if you can’t draw it.
